STRETCH & SIT: MINDFULNESS PRACTICES

This is an exploratory class offering gentle movement and mindful meditation practice. Each 60-min class will begin with movement and stretches to release tension and bring more awareness of the body. Preparatory movements will be followed by the opportunity for stillness, including both guided and independent meditation, working up to 20 minutes of silent meditation. Practice will conclude with a gentle restorative posture.

Beginners and those with an existing meditation practice are welcome.

Sliding scale pricing is available for this (or any) course to make it more accessible for people with low income.
